Square collection of beautiful photos

Slipknot at Metaltown Festival.
Joey Jordison on his turnable drumkit - looked quite impressive when it started turning into vertical position, while he went on playing as if nothing was happening. I had no access to the photopit for their gig, so I had to shoot from "far-away" aka somewhere near the Soundtower. If I had ever wished for an image stabilizer on my lens...it would´ve been then. So, judging from the conditions, it´s one of the shots from that festival, I´m really happy about, even though the quality is not the best. Well, more pics here tomorrow: [link] |

Horribly intrusive watermarks are tacky. If you're concerned about people stealing your photos, don't post them on the internet.
Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event. (HCB)

Well, this was my first gig and thus I don´t know, when they started with this stuff.
However they definitely managed to convince me with this gig, even though I probably will never become a big fan of their music. The show was worth a visit, hehe.
