I believe ... who was it again?... ah yes, the singer (or was it guitarist" of MAYHEM, nicknamed "Dead", shot his own head off with a shotgun. a fellow bandmate found him and Dead had a note in his hand saying "please excuse all the blood". Instead of calling the cops right away he ran to the nearby corner shop, bought a disposable camera, photographed the body, and THEN called ht police. MAYHEM used the photo for the cover of their following demo lol :D
